How far is Chatham-Kent from Toronto, Windsor, and London?+
Chatham sits approximately 1 hour from London, Ontario, 45 minutes from Windsor, and about 3 hours from Toronto. It is right on the Highway 401 corridor, which makes commuting or weekend travel straightforward. Many of my clients relocate from the GTA specifically because of what their budget can do here versus there.
Do I need to be pre-approved before we start looking?+
You do not need to be pre-approved to have a conversation with me, but you should have it done before we start seriously looking at properties. A pre-approval tells us exactly what your budget is, speeds up the offer process, and shows sellers you are serious. I can connect you with a trusted mortgage broker if you need one.
What does it cost to work with you as a buyer?+
In most cases, nothing. As a buyer, my commission is typically paid by the seller as part of the transaction. You get full representation and someone in your corner through the entire process at no direct cost to you. There are situations where this varies, and I will always be upfront with you about how it works before we start.
